Automate your workday
The solution provides two usecases to automate your workday: one that summarizes your agenda to highlight key appointments, and another that extracts tasks from emails and adds a concept reply to streamline your to-do list.
Guide to Importing and Setting Up the Solution
Step 1: Log into the Correct Tenant
Ensure that you are logged into the tenant where you want to install the solution. If you use multiple profiles in your browser, double-check that you are in the correct one.
Step 2: Download the Solution
Download the solution from Github
Navigate to Github
Step 3: Access the Power Apps Developer Plan (optional if you don’t have an environment yet)
- Navigate to Power Apps Developer Plan | Microsoft Power Platform
- Click on "Start free".
- Enter your email address to proceed.
Step 4: Verify Your Development Environment
You are now in your personal development environment. You can confirm this by checking the top right corner of the screen, where your environment details will be displayed.
Step 5: Import the Solution
Follow these steps to import the solution:
- Go to "Solutions" in the Power Apps environment.
- Click on "Import Solution".
- Select the solution file that you downloaded.
- During the import process, you will be prompted to fill in a variable:
- This variable is the name of the task list in Microsoft To Do where you want your tasks to appear.
- If necessary, create a new list in Microsoft To Do before proceeding.
- Complete the import process and verify that all settings are correctly applied.
Step 6: Activate Flows
After importing, check if the flows included in the solution are activated. If not, manually enable them by following these steps:
- Navigate to Power Automate within your Power Platform environment.
- Go to "My Flows" or "Solutions" > Select the imported solution.
- Locate all included flows.
- If any flow is disabled, select it and click "Turn on" to activate it.
Final Check
Verify that all necessary components are active and running correctly. This ensures that the automation functions as expected 🚀
